The initial structure constructed on the former Newcastle Breweries site, previously referred to as Science Central, is now part of The Helix development. Classic Masonry has been actively engaged in several projects on this large site, including the award-winning Catalyst and Lumen buildings. Our contributions also encompassed design, manufacturing, and installation of hard landscaping features, such as retaining walls, terracing, and steps. These features were required to accommodate level falls in two directions and raking walls, while simultaneously ensuring the precision of the electrical layout, which creates a striking visual effect at night.
