The Word is a new build award-winning library and cultural centre designed by Faulkner Brown Architects to resemble the pages and spine of an opened book. Classic Masonry was tasked to design, manufacture and install various precast concrete cladding elements including black textured cladding to the ground floor curved walls; radiating, sloping and curved paving. White concrete fins were created for the main entrance to complete the overall aesthetic of the building.
