This building resides in the very heart of the educational centre of the city and is dubbed the new “front door” to Newcastle University. Classic Masonry were appointed to provide expert advice and guidance on the removal and replacement of sandstone cladding panels to an existing proprietary rainscreen cladding system. Following extensive research and development, we were contracted to remove all the stones from the existing system and to supply and install new replacement stone cladding panels. This was a unique and difficult project to undertake and the Company’s technical knowledge and experience ensured that it was completed to the highest standards of quality.
